    Parade date and place change

There is no good reason to change the location or time. Changing the location will prevent those people in the neighborhoods surrounding montrose to be involved as spectators. There is only “pay” parking downtown, very few people live there, hard to set up floats without being at someones’ home. Changing the date doesn’t help anyone. It is just as hot in June as it is in September, September is in the most active period of hurricane season, I have simply not heard a good enough rational for changing the date.

    Place change

I wouldn’t think that it would be a good thing to move the Parade. However, after listening to the Podcast by the Montrose Monitor with Carol Watt, I beleive that it would be beneficial. They want to turn this local parade into a destination event. I would like to see Houston become a “go to” place.
